With this Connect Set, children write about familiar items found in a preschool classroom in response to the question "What is this?" or "What are these?". They link a sentence starter to noun phrase endings to create each response statement.

On each grid, there is a question and a picture. Children link the starter "It is"/"They are" with the correct noun phrase that matches the target picture to complete the sentence.

Children can use the related Custom Set "Classroom 1 – Explore" to become familiar with the pictures and words.
