This Word Bank contains starters and vocabulary to support the composition of a persuasive letter to a character from the novel "Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White. Students write to persuade Mr. Arable to spare the life of Wilbur, the smallest of a litter of piglets.

The set contains frames with starters to structure an opening statement and persuasive paragraphs, as well as topic-specific vocabulary, transition words, and general words.
