Changing Pitch of Sound - Make a Book

With this Clicker Book, students record information about the relationship between the pitch of a sound and features of the object that made it, enabling them to create a text-free on-screen book. They can talk about how (and why) the pitch of a sound changes when variations are made to three simple instruments which are featured in the Clicker Book "Changing Pitch of Sound – Read a Book.”

To create the book, go to Edit View. To record information on each page, click/tap on the sound button and then on the record tool on the toolbar.

Students can read about pitch changes in the Clicker Book "Changing Pitch of Sound – Read a Book." They can also talk and write about the changes using the sets "Changing Pitch of Sound – Set One/Two/Three." For other Clicker resources on the topic, search for sound on LearningGrids.
