With this Connect set, students write a sequence of step-by-step instructions to make a programmable floor robot move along a specified route.
They use simple instructional language, giving direction and distance orders. This set can be used for work on algorithms (using a sequence of actions to solve a problem, e.g. How will I get from point A to point B?). Get the children to try out the sequence of instructions. Did it work? How could the sequence be amended (debugged)?
