Spooky House

In this Talk About activity, children describe a spooky house and its surroundings.

Use the activity as a starting point for writing a story setting. Get the children to think about their senses as they record, and/or provide questions that will draw out information about the picture.

Children can use the Clicker Board activity “Setting the Scene – Spooky House” to create a mind map of their ideas.
