This Listen and Say activity enables children to learn and practise saying the phoneme "j" – as a discrete phoneme and within words.

On each page, click on the picture to listen and then record. Listen to the recordings on the start page. This activity uses real speech so that children have a clear model and can compare their recordings.

This activity is part of a group of stories and activities which focus on the phonemes/graphemes: ai, j, or, oa, ie, ee (as well as cumulative phonemes/graphemes from earlier groups).
