Life in the Second World War - Book 1

This Find Out and Write About activity enables pupils to read about what life in Britain was like during the Second World War and then write about what they have learned. The structured approach of linking reading pages and writing grids enables pupils to produce a significant piece of writing with a high level of independence.

On the writing grids, pupils link sentence starters and endings. A picture on each grid can be included in the writing.
