Humpty Dumpty - Rhyming Strings

In this Talk About activity, children practise and demonstrate their awareness of rhyme in speech by recording a series of words that rhyme to create a rhyming string. The activity is based on the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty.
Select a picture to open a recording page. Record a string of rhyming words (these could include real and nonsense words) – you may wish to record the word from the picture to start the string. Listen to the recordings on the start page.
