This Connect Set enables pupils to write about the Great Fire of London in 1666.

On each grid, they use beginnings, middles and endings to build sentences and paragraphs about key events such as where the fire started, how people tried to tackle the fire, and about what happened after the fire.

Children can read about the fire in the Clicker Book "Great Fire of London – Read a Book". For further follow-up sets, search for Fire of London on LearningGrids.
