Expanding Sentences

With this Connect Set, children expand sentences by adding descriptive words and phrases.

Each grid offers a simple sentence and a choice of adjectives, adverbs and prepositional phrases to choose from, in order to create a more visually descriptive sentence. Encourage the children to create a variety of sentences, using the same root sentence.
