Ants in Pants

This Connect Set encourages children to use phonic decoding skills to make appropriate word choices and retell a simple story based on phonically decodable text and common exception words. The text focuses on the phonemes/graphemes: s, a, t, p, i, n.

On each grid, they select from a choice of phonically decodable words to correctly complete the sentence.

Children can read the story on which the text is based in the Clicker Book "Ants in Pants – Read a Book".
