Animal Adaptations Mind Maps

With this Clicker Board, children create mind maps about a selection of animals that live in different types of habitats, and about the special features and adaptations which make them well suited to their habitats. Add words to each animal picture. You can also record information.

On each board, double-click on a cell to add text. To add more cells, double-click on the page. To add a Voice Note double click on the microphone button. When all the mind maps are complete, right-click on a board background and create a tabbed word bank for writing.

Children can read about the animals and their adaptations in the set "Animals in Their Habitats – Read a Book". For further follow-up resources, search for animal habitats on LearningGrids.
