Adding Details

With this Connect Set, children write sentences that include commas to demarcate additional information.

Each grid offers a choice of starters (names), articles and nouns to give extra information about the name, and sentence endings. Encourage the children to create a range of sentences, some of which may be nonsensical, using the punctuation to mark the grammatical boundaries correctly.
