Latin Prefixes

In this Custom Set, pupils explore the meaning of common prefixes, which have a Latin origin.

On the start page, discuss the six prefixes and ask pupils if they know what they mean or know any words that begin with the prefixes. On the activity pages, pupils sort words by the prefixes and select the meaning for each of the prefixes. A word bank is provided on the final grid for pupils to write sentences using the words from the activity.
