From Egg to Chicken

This Connect Set enables pupils to write about how a chicken grows.

On each grid, they use sentence beginnings, middles and endings to write about the changes that happen at each stage, from the start of the chick’s life, growing in and hatching from the egg, and its growth into an adult chicken. A pictures grid is provided to support the writing.
