    Talk About Our New Toys

    This Talk About activity enables children to talk about what they have read in the Clicker Set “Our New Toys – Read a Book”. The book is about a group of children who go to a toyshop to buy some toys. The set uses pictures from the book.

    On the start page, click on each picture to open the recording page. At the end of the activity, listen to all the recordings on the start page.

    Our New Toys - Listen and Find

    In this Matching Set, children match pictures to spoken phrases. The set is based on the toys that appear in the set “Our New Toys – Read a Book”. The activity is designed so that children achieve success, as they can continue until they find the correct match.

    On the start page, click on each picture to hear and become familiar with the target sounds, for example, “Maisie's teddy”. On each page, click on the speaker to listen and then choose the matching picture.

    You may wish to adjust the speed of Clicker 7’s voice. To do so, open the “Options” ribbon tab, click “Preferences” and open the “Speech” tab.
