My Day at the Beach

With this Connect Set, students write a report about what they did on a visit to the beach.

The vocabulary is arranged on two tabs, Starters and Endings, so that early writers are supported in structuring their sentences. For children who have not experienced a beach holiday, change “I” to the name of an imaginary character, so that they can write the report in the third person.
