Paper and Air Resistance Investigation

This Word Bank enables students to write an outline of an investigation into air resistance, in which they compare how a flat sheet, a folded sheet, and a crumpled sheet of paper will fall to the ground.

The set contains a starter tab, a frame, and relevant vocabulary to write up the investigation. To complete the test, students should use the same type of paper and drop each piece from a given height.

For other sets on this topic, search for forces on LearningGrids. For general word banks about forces, see the sets "Forces Words" and "Forces A – Z." To write an outline of another investigation into air resistance and gravity, see the set "Gravity and Air Resistance Investigation."
