  7. Connect Set

    My Meals

    This Connect Set enables students to write about the food and drinks they would like or have had for their meals during the day. They are given support to write about their breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals, as well as drinks and treats.

    The grids offer a writing frame with simple openers to get the writing started, and tabs for words to write about the components that make up each meal. Picture support in the cells that contain nouns provides additional reinforcement for early writers.

    Senses Mind Maps

    With this Clicker Board Set, create a series of mind maps about what you might see, hear, smell, taste, and touch in a particular situation or environment. There is a board for each of the senses.

    On each board, click on a cell to add text. To add more cells, double-click on the background. When all the mind maps are complete, right-click on a board background and create a tabbed word bank for writing.
