  1. Clicker Board

    Superhero Mind Maps

    With this Clicker Board, students create a series of mind maps as a basis for story writing about superheroes. There are boards for two illustrated superheroes and a board where students can create their own superhero.

    On each board, double-click on a cell to add text. To add more cells, double-click on the background. To add a picture, click a cell and then click the picture icon in the left toolbar to browse, paint a picture, or take a photo. To add a Voice Note, double-click on the microphone button. When the mind maps are complete, right-click on a board background and create a tabbed word bank for writing.

    On the start page, click on each picture to hear the phrase. On each activity page, click on the picture to listen, and then use the microphone button to record. Listen to all the recordings on the start page.

    You may wish to adjust the speed of Clicker 7’s voice. To do so, open the “Options” ribbon tab, click “Preferences” and open the “Speech” tab.
