Seaside Adjectives

This Custom Set encourages pupils to consider the use of adjectives in writing. They select adjectives appropriate to a range of seaside features and can then use an adjective bank to write.

In the activity, click on each heading to add words to the list. Encourage pupils to be selective in their choices, perhaps by suggesting that they select three adjectives for each feature. There are no right or wrong answers.
