I Can

With this Connect Set, children write sentences about things they can do, with a focus on choosing appropriate verbs.

On each grid, children look at the picture then link the starter "I can", a verb and an ending to complete the sentence. There is a choice of three verbs each time, so children must choose carefully to ensure that the sentence makes sense and matches the picture.
