    Our New Toys - Listen and Say

    In this Listen and Say activity, children name the toys bought by a group of children who appear in the set “Our New Toys – Read a Book”.

    On the start page, click on each picture to hear the model, for example “Freddie’s bricks”. On each activity page, click on the picture to listen, and then use the microphone button to record. Listen to all the recordings on the start page.

    You may wish to adjust the speed of Clicker 7’s voice. To do so, open the “Options” ribbon tab, click “Preferences” and open the “Speech” tab.

    In this Matching Set, children match pictures to spoken phrases. The set is based on the toys that appear in the set “Our New Toys – Read a Book”. The activity is designed so that children achieve success, as they can continue until they find the correct match.

    On the start page, click on each picture to hear and become familiar with the target sounds, for example, “Sally’s boat”. On each page, click on the speaker to listen and then choose the matching picture.
