    Superhero Words

    This Word Bank offers vocabulary for writing about superheroes and their adventures. The set contains tabs for nouns, verbs and adjectives, as well as tabs for superhero names and powers. An additional tab provides onomatopoeias such as Zap! and Pow! which children can use to enhance their creative writing.

    Superhero Mind Maps

    With this Clicker Board, children create a series of mind maps as a basis for story writing about superheroes. There is a page for a female superhero, a male superhero and a page where children can create their own superhero.

    On each board, double-click on a cell to add text. To add more cells, double-click on the background. To add a picture, click a cell and then click the picture icon in the left toolbar to browse, paint a picture or take a photo. To add a Voice Note double-click on the microphone button. When the mind maps are complete, right-click on a board background and create a tabbed word bank for writing.

    To add a picture, click a cell and then click the picture icon in the left toolbar to browse, paint a picture or take a photo. To record, double-click the Voice Note and use the recording dialog at the top of the screen. To play a Voice Note, click or right-click it. To start writing in a cell, double-click it.

    To refer to the storyboard when writing, use the tabs at the bottom of the screen to move between the document and Clicker Board.
